Lee Priest has announced that he won't be competing, as originally planned, in the IFBB Australian or New Zealand Grand Prix events. Instead, he's opting to have surgery on his torn biceps muscle this coming Wednesday in his home country of Australia. Priest, who hasn't competed in the IFBB since 2006 where he placed 1st at the IFBB Ironman Pro and 6th at the Arnold Classic will have to wait until 2010 to makes his much anticipated comeback to an IFBB stage. Assuming the torn biceps tendon can be properly reattached, Priest, still in his early 30's, should have no problems making a successful return in the early part of next year. While his physical body seems to be as freaky as ever, one can only wonder whether his mind is still as determined and as confidant as it usually is after this latest setback. However, if Priest's competitive history has taught us anything; it's to never count him out! We, at RXMUSCLE.com, wish Lee a quick and successful recovery!

thanos, il a le don pour pas se mettre en valeur d'habitude sur ses avatars (je me rappelles les avatars sur pm). Là pour une fois qu'il prend une photo un peu normale, pas prise de trop loin, boum la masse explose

Priest est conscient de ses chances avec un biceps moisi. C'est le bon choix je pense. 2010 au plus tôt, c'est peanuts d'attente quand on voit un platz qui revient tout tranquille ou un benfatto qui se tape aussi un gros break avant de revenir encore plus gros.

"I spoke to Lee before going into surgery today to repair his torn bicep tendon. He was a little nervous considering it is his first surgery ever, but seemed very confident. The surgery involves reattaching the torn portion of the tendon. It will be 6 weeks before he can move it again. Lee will miss the 2009 season but will compete again sometime in 2010. I wished him well and he said that he will call me after the surgery is completed. I will keep everyone updated on his progress."

"I spoke to Lee last night, Wednesday, 6:30pm EST. Lee just got home from the hospital. He still feels a little groggy from the anesthesia. Lee said the one hour operation was a success. They reattached the tendon to the bicep and anchored it back with 25 screws. His arm is in a sling and in 7 weeks he can begin lifting 5 pound dumbbells. In one week Lee said he will start doing cardio and continue training his legs. Lee sends his best to everyone on the board and will be back posting shortly. "

J'suis pas sur de bien comprendre ... 25 screw ??? C'est intense quand meme...et il ne les retireront pas ?
