Ronnie Coleman back in hospital for emergency surgery

"8X Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman is unexpectedly back in the hospital.

Coleman went to the doctor for a regular visit and to get some x-rays done.

The results of the x-rays were not positive and Ronnie was advised that he needed urgent surgery on his right hip.

While Ronnie was alone in the hospital waiting alone, he decided to keep his fans updated."

“As you can see, I’m in the hospital again,” Coleman said. “I ended up going to the doctor today, for some x-rays. X-ray didn’t turn out too good.

So they admitted me, and I’ve been here since 5 o’clock, all by myself, getting ready to do this surgery on my right hip, early in the morning. So I guess I’ll see you guys after this is all over.”

Ronnie has had surgery on numerous occasions and hopefully this will be the last one for the bodybuilding legend.

I am finally feeling a lot better after surgery. Here I’m hanging with my training partner and partner in crime @bigj_extremefitness, surgery was yesterday around noon. I can always count on @bigj_extremefitness to meet me at my surgery appointment and wait the entire time while I’m having surgery. If that’s not the true definition of a friend, then there is no such thing. I was so dumbfounded about having surgery and confused, I forgot to call @bigj_extremefitness. The Dr Said he replaced both cups holding the titanium hook and then he put a cage around both so that I’ll be able to do leg presses without a problem. Y’all know I gotta do my leg presses to get these legs bigger. Because he said in 4-6 weeks I’ll be able to get back in the gym again. And y’all know, once again it’s on like a pot of neck bones. I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

This photo was taken at the 1991 Mr Olympia. Of course I was still an amateur and this was my second year in bodybuilding. I worked the front door at this show and I remember it like it was yesterday. I had no idea that I would ever become a pro and I did this same year a couple months later. Half the people in the audience took a photo with me and told me I should be up there onstage. Of course this was the biggest compliment ever to someone who never thought they had enough talent to be a bodybuilder. I was 27 years old and new to bodybuilding because like I said I didn’t think I had enough talent to be one, not to mention being a pro. I was even able to go backstage where I met Lee Haney, something I never thought possible. The bad thing about is the lady operating the camera didn’t know how to use it so that photo never took. Just think that would have been the greatest picture ever. Oh well, sh*t happens.
